Romping Around

I've been searching for a romper for quite some time now. As we all are not of model proportions, finding a flattering romper, I have learned, can be a challenge. After trying on numerous rompers that made my straight frame resemble a mushroom, I came to the realization that maybe they just weren't meant for my body. But I've been proven wrong by this perfect black romper that I came across today, whose cut I am sure would flatter me. It renewed my hope that I can and will one day wear a romper. I was looking at some Annie Leibovitz photoshoots and this Alice and Wonderland editorial reminded me of the movie that recently came out. I love the whimsical nature of all of these and the way she incorporates the celebrities into them :) She is definitely a photographic genius.

Loving My Leather

I finally got a leather jacket this weekend! It's from H&M and I am quite happy with it :) I'm wearing it with a striped Forever21 tank and black Zara jeans.

I am not particularly in love with the rest of Elie Saab's FW 2010 collection, but I really like the structure of this dress. In white or lighter colors it would be a perfect sundress!

Now this is the way to do hippie chic! My favorites photos are the first two but I love the feel of all three of these. Hair-gorgeous and not too grungy. Model- beautiful of course (with a nice tan I might add). Jewelry- turquoise= love. Clothing-distressed, kind of traveler or safari-esque. I know alot of other blogs have posted this photo, but I it was just too good: I couldn't not share it. :)

I didn't even think to look up when H&M's Garden Collection came to stores, and when I learned it came out two weeks ago I immediately called my store. They are sold out of all of the dresses :( and have only a few pieces left from the entire collection! I then frantically checked ebay for listings of the ruffled dress I am coveting, and of the few I could find, the cheapest listing was $60! And as it is a special collection, they won't be making any more shipments. What a bummer! I definitely missed the boat on this one.
