November 27
I took this picture with my phone while I was walking on the beach. On my way home (still walking) I got the random urge to doodle beach things like sea gulls and an umbrella on the picture, and voila! This is the result :)

Stolen From Grandma
Claire from Stolen from Grandma has great style. She always seems to be able to make vintage look new and cool which ceases to amaze me. There aren't many vintage stores in my area and the clothes that these few stores do have are frumpy. I do have luck with vintage jewelry though! I absolutely love turqouise and I have been lucky enough to have been able to find some beautiful Native American turquoise. In fact most of my favorite pieces are Native American.

Sketchy
... the result of my midnight burst of energy last night.
And I finally got around to finishing a sketch that I started of Frassy.
I'm not sure what's up with the weird lighting... I promise it looks better/less blurry in person.

LF Winter Lookbook 2010
[candywashington.blogspot]
I absolutely love this collection! I wish that I could have all of these pieces for my winter/fall wardrobe. They are so bohemian and cute and they look super comfortable. I love the effortless vibe that this collection gives off. Please open a store in my town! (...or at least an online store)

Fire and Ice (trimmed with fur)
Tousled Tresses
[framboise fashion]

I love Chanel Iman's romantic, tousled side bun and the perfectly messy hair of the models in the last two photos. It is so hard to get the tousled look for everyday, though, without looking sloppy. I run into this challenge every time I try to coax my hair into this style. There is definitely a fine line between polished waves, and just-got-out-of-bed rumpled locks. So I ask dear readers, how do you get the perfect, tousled do?
