Post Olympics

Life has been very hectic with school, soccer, and THE OLYMPICS! and I haven't gotten a chance to blog in it seems like forever. This is a photo of myself and my sister (middle right) and our family friends in front of B.C. Place, the site of Opening Ceremonies and the place where they give awards.

Eight days!

My family is lucky enough to be going to the Winter Olympics next week and I am so excited! Never been before and it should be a once-in-a-lifetime experience from what I hear.

Call it a miracle, but I actually took this picture with my phone's, try not to gasp, 1.3 megapixel camera! No idea how it came out so clear, but its a picture of the lovely coast that I will be admiring with a dear friend in exactly two and a half days. I love having things to look forward too, it makes the monotony of every day life so much more enjoyable :)

500 Days of Summer

If you haven't seen it yet you need to rent the movie 500 Days of Summer, if not for the movie itself but for the amazing soundtrack! I'm currently obsessed with Regina Spektors song Hero that appears in the movie :) Definitely one of the best movie soundtracks in awhile.

I have been stuck in a hair rut lately, wearing my hair just straight down every day for probably the past week. These braided headbands look so cute and they would be perfect for the rainy weather. I'll keep you posted as to the success of my attempt to copy it:) What are your current hair inspirations?
