I love Chanel Iman's romantic, tousled side bun and the perfectly messy hair of the models in the last two photos. It is so hard to get the tousled look for everyday, though,without looking sloppy. I run into this challenge every time I try to coax my hair into this style. There is definitely a fine line between polished waves, and just-got-out-of-bed rumpled locks. So I ask dear readers, how do you get the perfect, tousled do?

I just love this period in time (swinging 60s)! Especially in Europe. There was such great style and music...
I watched my favorite movie, An Education (with Carey Mulligan), yesterday that is set in around the same period as Birkin lived, and the whole music culture of that era just fascinates me.

I have been having a random sunglass obsession recently. I think its because I just noticed how much a great pair of sunglasses adds a look. I am still in love with my big, H&M, cat eye sunnies from the summer, even though I haven't gotten a chance to wear them recently. It is raining cats and dogs today :(

Sneak Preview: H&M and Lanvin Collaboration

The first photo is out from H&M's collaboration with Lanvin (probably their best collaboration ever). I am so excited to see the full collection! From the looks of this first photo, it looks like we can expect classic Lanvin statements (sleek black with exaggerated elements) from this collaboration. So excited for this to come out in stores! Not sure I will actually buy any of these pieces because they are sort of impractical for my everyday life (and in H&M's videos it was insinuated that they would be a bit on the pricier end), but man would I love to try all of this collection on!
