Look at these beautiful Steve Madden (Annton in Cognac) shoes! Gorgeous! If I wore heels I would pick up these babies in a heartbeat.
I found these tuxedo sneaks at Marais and they are on sale! Maybe I'll convince myself to get them...
I ordered these last week from shoes.com and am anxiously awaiting their arrival on my doorstep! They are Minnetonka Tramper Ankle Boots and I think they are just perfect for fall. I fell in love with them from a picture of Kate Moss (below). I am hoping they fit me like they fit her, because they look great on her... but I am not exactly a six foot model.
Apparently great minds think alike :) Her outfit would be my uniform for fall if I could only find a fur (fake of course) cape/jacket like the one she is wearing.

Look at how cute these are! They are like little pieces of artwork. Don't know when I would ever wear these, but they sure are fun. (My favorite would have to be the ikat and color striped pair in the top two photos.) It gets better... each pair of shoes is made by hand by a Guatemalan employed with fair international labor practices!
Some pretty pictures from the shoot that Eleanor Blanco (the PR director for Teen Vogue) participated in for Fashionmegreen, a website and project devoted to bringing the issue of sustainable fashion to the public and proving that eco-friendly fashion is.. ahem.. fashionable.
To me, sustainable fashion is where the hippie and the hipster collide. Eco friendly clothing has always been sought after by the granola crowd, but with recent (and important!!!) widespread media focus on the issue of preserving the earth, being green has moved into pop culture territory. So ladies throw on your Hannah Assymetrical Sandal (in Royal, by Cri de Coeur) like Eleanor above, and strut your way through 2010 in style.
P.s. Here's a behind-the-scenes photo of the amazing accesories from the shoot... all eco friendly of course :)
